Detail Ukrainian Folk Fairy Tale: Psychoanalytic Aspect: Monograph In the monograph, for the first time in Ukrainian folkloristics, the semantics of the characters of the Ukrainian folk magic tales of Transcarpathia were analyzed in the context of psychoanalysis. The features of the objectification of the archetypes "Anima", "Animus", "Self", "Wise Old (Old Woman)", "Spirit", "Shadow" were considered by analyzing the plots. The heroes are interpreted as objectified archetypes of the collective unconscious, and the plots of fairy tales are interpreted as metaphorical scenarios of age initiations of men (in "male" tales) or women (in "female" tales). Using the provisions of psychoanalysis by Z. Freud and K.-H. Jung highlighted the history of the human soul, which in magical tales is hidden under a system of archetypal images, motifs and symbols. The system of characters in magical tales of Transcarpathia is considered as an inseparable unity of objectified archetypes, which in the process of interaction create a mosaic picture of human individuation, which, crossing the border between the real and the unreal, finds the way to the realization of the Self. /// ///
