Detail The Magic of the Ukrainian Word: The Sacred Semantics of the Family Name Humenyuk The proposed edition, based on a thorough scientific basis, is devoted to topical issues of national onomastics and, in particular, anthroponymics, which have long been the main topic of research by Ukrainian linguists. For the first time among such anthroponymic studies of Ukraine, the book presents an essay on the history of the unique family name Humenyuk and its Anatolian etymon, the age of which is measured in three millennia, and the semantics is related to key terms of the Ukrainian lexicon. Ethnocultural and sociocultural problems of the distant past, related to the prehistoric settlement of peoples and, in particular, the stages of the ethnogenetic development of Ukrainianness, are also highlighted. The information provided in this section forms new outlines of the ethnic history of Ukraine, is invaluable for the study of antiquities of the native people. From oblivion, seemingly forever lost words from past eras are returning.
